These portable coffee mills were made in Sanjo by the Kawasaki company, within their Millu series
Featuring ceramic grind blades, they combine function with quality in manufacture.
The main body material is quality 18/8 stainless steel, with a polished or a darkened black finish (achieved by oxidisation).
The skill in hand finished polish and treatment of stainless steel is a particular point of pride in the Tsubame-Sanjo region.
The mills can contain around 17g of coffee beans, and are ideal as lightweight, portable grinders for excellent coffee while travelling. They are also a quick solution for the home.
The mills are around 4.7cm wide, and 13.5cm high. They weigh 220g.
