About Akiko Ozutsumi
A much loved figure in Kasama ceramics, Akiko Ozutsumi has been producing pottery under her Oz Factory moniker since 2006. Her ceramics adapt the world of her imagination to everyday objects and bring a sense of enjoyment with each use. An original career in designing the interior fittings of heavy vehicles, perhaps lend a slight motoring theme to some of her objects - but the overall guiding ethos is from within Ozutsumi herself. Blank faced polar bears, foxes deep in thought, cars on the road. Each piece includes handmade quality from Ozutsumi’s workshop, and its own ideas and fun.
