This tea pot was made in coated 18/8 stainless steel by the Gyokkodō company based in Tsubame.
With Russian design influences, it is offered here in two colours: ‘Nochka’ black and ‘Utro’ white.
The handle is made in brass, and while it may get a little hot when held, it allows for easy use. It is embossed with the ‘made in Tsubame’ logo, understood as a mark of quality around Japan.
Gyokkodō is a family business with 102 years of history, known for their Marutama brand of kitchen and home ware. This tea pot range is among their newest products, inspired by days spent at home during the pandemic, and a wish to bring a new level of comfort within the potential of the materials in which they work.
It is a squat and friendly presence on the table.
The pot diameter is 15cm, with a height of 12cm (including the handle). They weigh 320g, and have a capacity of 600ml.
